OPEN HOUSE during Paralyzed Veterans Awareness Week

The Sharpsburg offices of the Keystone PVA will be open to the public on Friday, 18 April, from 1 to 6 p.m., as part of Paralyzed Veterans Awareness Week, which runs from 13 to 19 April.

Our special guests will include Rick and Debbie Lawson, who recently made a large gift to the chapter's general fund. Rick is the proprietor of Lawson Excavating of Finleyville, Pa. He recently celebrated 40 years in business. We will also have:

An adaptable vehicle exhibit by Mobility Works
Informational displays by the Human Engineering Research Laboratories, and by Aardvark Adaptive Modifications, and by other organizations
Refreshments
Good fellowship among all!

Join us at anytime during the afternoon. Parking in the Keystone PVA parking lot is reserved exclusively for handicapped vehicle users who do not have someone ambulatory to park their vehicle elsewhere. There is an inexpensive municipal parking lot across Main Street at 13th Street we encourage non-handicapped drivers to use.

Questions? Call 412-781-2474 or e-mail us!

The Keystone Chapter of the PVA neither seeks nor receives government funding. Our sole support comes from contributions made by the general public. It is with these contributions we are able to continue our SCI research and have programs for the physically challenged.
