
DONATIONS of HOUSEHOLD GOODS
In the Pittsburgh region, you may donate household goods to benefit the services of the Keystone Paralyzed Veterans of America.
American Thrift Center will accept your donations at its store, will pick up your larger items, or you can visit its retail store. American Thrift Center is located at 1806 Homeville Road, West Mifflin, PA 15222 in the Village Shopping Center. If you wish to have larger items picked up, please call 412-469-9663 or 412-469-9665.
If you wish to drop off smaller items, you can use one of 24 drop off boxes. A complete list can be obtained from the Keystone PVA office (800-775-9323 or 412-781-2474) or you can click here.
A percentage of the proceeds of each sale is donated to the Keystone PVA. American Thrift Center is open to the public and welcomes your business!
American Thrift Center will not accept:
Extremely heavy items
Building materials
China closets, unless they are small and light
Console televisions or stereos
Desks, unless they are small and light
Dishwashers
Dryers
Encyclopedias
Hospital beds
Organs
Pianos
Pool tables
Refrigerators
Stoves
Sleeper sofas
Washers
Water beds
American Thrift Center will accept mattresses and small furniture, such as living room chairs and end tables.
