Congratulations to the winners of our 2019 Veterans Day Poster and Poem Contest! Rilee White in third grade at the Brownsville Area Elementary School from New Salem PA won the grand prize in the poster category. A big thank you to her teacher Ms. Jennifer Novak for sending in all the entries from the school. Jolee Rothermel in eighth grade at the Pittsburgh Brookline Pre K-8 School from Pittsburgh PA won the grand prize in the poem category. Thank you Mrs. Kari Gajewski for allowing your students to participate.
This year’s theme was HONOR Their Sacrifice, which is wonderfully depicted in both winning entries.
