Una actividad reciente fue el 26<sup>el<\/sup> El Desaf\u00edo Anual del Presidente se llev\u00f3 a cabo en el sendero Boathouse en North Park el s\u00e1bado 19.<sup>el<\/sup> Septiembre de 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esta divertida actividad ayud\u00f3 a recaudar fondos para apoyar a los Pittsburgh Steelwheelers, una organizaci\u00f3n independiente sin fines de lucro dedicada a brindar oportunidades para que las personas con discapacidad participen en deportes competitivos. Actualmente, los Steelwheelers participan en tres deportes principales: rugby en silla de ruedas, baloncesto en silla de ruedas y ciclismo adaptado. El costo del equipo necesario para practicar estos deportes representa una gran barrera para muchas personas, especialmente cuando su situaci\u00f3n les genera dificultades financieras similares desde el punto de vista m\u00e9dico. Apoyar a los Steelwheelers les permite a estas personas participar en deportes y forjar amistades con sus compa\u00f1eros de equipo, lo que contribuye a una mejor calidad de vida en general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La carrera se dividi\u00f3 en tres salidas: sillas de ruedas, bicicletas reclinadas y caminata\/carrera. El recorrido de 5 km comenz\u00f3 en el embarcadero, continu\u00f3 pasando las canchas de tenis y luego gir\u00f3 a la izquierda en Lakeshore Drive antes de girar en el estacionamiento de Kolich Grove. Como siempre, estos eventos deportivos pueden ser exigentes, especialmente en Pittsburgh. Si bien el recorrido puede parecer corto, el desaf\u00edo de las numerosas cuestas y la gran cantidad de participantes ponen a prueba las habilidades del ciclista.
