The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has proposed closing its hospitals in West Philadelphia and Coatesville due to population shifts and because more care is being provided outside hospitals.

Each year, PVA is given the opportunity to present testimony regarding our legislative priorities before a joint hearing of the Senate and House Committees on Veterans’ Affairs. This testimony is one of our most important presentations before Congress since it is an opportunity for PVA to further congressional action on issues of specific concern to our organization’s members.
